I guess the phrase “A New Challenger Approaches” is especially significant with the inclusion of Capcom’s donation of several of their titles for our latest care package being sent to Iraq (code name: GREASE GUN). Thanks to a happenstance meeting between Capcom Unity’s very own Seth Killian and little ol’ me at this year’s E3 in Los Angeles, Seth was able to hurdle a great deal of the red tape associated with asking for donations from corporate entities and just make things happen on his end. Seth had a brother who spent some time in Afghanistan, so he’s especially willing to go out of his way to support our deployed gamers.
So, big thanks go out to Seth for helping make this happen! Jump on @Capcom_Unity on Twitter and give him a big shout out for their support of deployed soldiers!
Anyway, if you’d like to help us, we’re currently putting the finishing touches on our GREASE GUN care package, going to a unit in Iraq. If you’d like to help out, click on the Chipin link on the front right hand side of either Front Towards Gamer.com and Operation Supply Drop.org to make a tiny donation to getting these troops some video games!
