Now then, this was a good episode! A fair amount of questions were answered, although Moffat cleverly left some open. Let’s take a look why don’t we?
- River did marry the Doctor, then. And the Doctor didn’t whisper his name to her? Or did he…I’m still trying to figure out what River whispered to the Doctor in her first appearance. Clearly what he whispered to her in this episode was about the Tesselector, but at some point he must have told her his name. Or not?
- We know what the question is now. Doctor Who? I’m guessing this revolves around his name too…
- River was wearing the Omega symbol on her arm again. Omega is clearly not going to be in this series, but he’s coming. I’m sure of it now. Perhaps it’s relating to the question: who is the Doctor, and does he maybe have something to do with Omega, who may be his ‘creator’?
- We’re not done with the Silence. Not by any means. The question still hasn’t been asked, so the Silence will come back.
- We heard about the ‘Fall of the 11th on the Fields of Trenzalor’. That’s coming at some point then…
