Okay, game’s done. Last two bosses were a joke, but I wanted to go back in and add a few random points.
End stats?

Attunement: 19
Endurance: 8

Dexterity: 14

Maybe slap a few points in Endurance?
As soon as I had Havel’s Ring, I kept min/maxing between heavier armors and being able to keep my weight/load under 50%. Any time your encumbrance goes over half of your maximum carrying weight, you slow down sharply. After clearing out the Duke’s Archives, I kept trading out between the heavier, physical damage mitigating Channeler’s set and the Gold-Hemmed set of robes, gauntlets, etc. Every now and again, I would throw on Havel’s Chestplate and then the Painted Guardian’s gear to mix it up. Bottom line? I two shotted Gwyn, Lord of Cinder, with Homing Crystal Soulmasses, so you’re probably safe to put a few points into Endurance and free up those precious ring slots.
Who’s this “Big Hat Logan” guy and where can I find him?
As a sorcerer, this guy is “the man”. Not only will he eventually sell you Homing Crystal Soulmass (the gamechanger), but when you eventually beat him in battle, he’ll drop the most powerful sorcerer wand in the game, the Tin Crystallization Catalyst.
You’ll first run into the roaming scholar trapped in the Sen’s Fortress in a hanging prison. When you reach the boulder-launching machine, make sure you launch a boulder down all four chutes; one of them leads to his prison. If you read this guide, you’ve selected the Master key as your starting gift and can spring him right away. If NOT (jerk), then you have to schlep down over to the Merchant’s Tower within Sen’s Fortress. This area is where you’re under bombardment from the giant launching fiery boulders at you; when you find the bridge where you come to a T-intersection and the left way has a gap, you have to make the jump to reach the stand alone tower. Not only will you find a pretty sweet merchant inside, but at the bottom of the tower, you’ll find the key to his prison. Release ol’ Big Hat and you’ll find him standing at the Firelink Shrine by the hewn rock staircase leading up to Undead Burg.
The second time you run across the unlucky sorcerer Logan, he’ll be held prisoner in the basement of the Crystal Caves. After you’ve been defeated by Seath the Scaleless the first time and spring yourself from prison, you’ll find him all the way at the bottom of the tower in a cage with the room full of odd blue walking tentacle beasts. Again, you need another key. On your way out to the crystal plains after you’re on your way out to get back to Seath, after you throw the switch to open the fake bookshelf, you’ll find a pair of rooms with a bunch of chests. One of them has the key to Logan’s cage. Once Logan is freed, you’ll find him sitting in the room you found the key in, reading up on the archives.
Sure, you can buy the Homing Crystal Soulmass and Crystal Lance and call it a day…or you cause Logan to go insane and take his gear from him! Purchase every spell in his inventory…and I mean every single spell. It costs roughly 180,000 souls to buy him out, but once you do, he goes mental when you talk with him again. Simply save the game at the nearby bonfire, then make sure Logan has left. If he hasn’t, turn the game off and turn it back on; that’s what I had to do because he wouldn’t leave! Finally, when he disappears, he reappears in the room where you first are massacred by Seath the Scaleless. Simply take the elevator up, follow the crystal path way, and wipe him out to get his all-too-powerful Tin Crystallization Catalyst.
After you’ve got Logan’s catalyst and Crystal Homing Soulmass, your ascension to Gwyn’s throne is inevitable!
