Hey, do you care about Soul Calibur 5? Well, there’s a better than average chance you don’t, and Namco Bandai understands this. Therefore, with their latest ad campaign that kicked off in Japanese papers looks like it might have been a rejected ad from that annoying web based game Evony.
Obviously, this advertisement represents one of the only memorable parts of the Soul Calibur series, underdressed chain whip fighter Ivy’s awe-inspiring melons.
Just in case you don’t remember the evolution of Evony website ads, here’s a little refresher.
I’m not sure exactly what they’re selling here, but it certainly isn’t new weapon combos or fighting arenas. This doesn’t say, “Hey, we’re really trying to break out from the mold that the last four titles have been stuck in for years.” This says, “Hey, we’re pretty sure you’re not paying attention any more and TITS!”
Well, here I am writing about it, so there you go. You’re welcome, Namco Bandai.
