After interviewing her husband and fellow actor, John Patrick Lowrie for episode 81 of Front Towards Gamer Radio, Shanghai Six tricks Miss Ellen McLain, better known by you as the voice of the omnipotent and rather snarky AI GlaDOS from Valve’s Portal series into an interview. They talk about the artist’s life that she and her husband lead that eventually landed her in Seattle, and which then lead to Ellen becoming a crown princess of nerd culture through voicing one of the most remarkable video game characters of all time.
As for intro/outro, Batman, Shanghai and Gamergirl continue to weather the post-holiday gaming drought the best they know how by going into nauseating detail about their shared new favorite iPhone time killer, Robot Entertainment’s Hero Academy, while Shanghai gives Gamergirl a hard time over her stepping out on Front Towards Gamer, freelancing for those terrible, terrible people at Laser Time.
