FTG Giveaway: Runespell: Overture Steam Code for PC

The Front Towards Gamer crew is back with another giveaway for you!

This time we have a Steam game to give to one of our readers. Runespell: Overture is an interesting mix of Puzzle Quest and Poker. Make the best hand from a solitare style board to attack your opponent. Do you go with the easy Pairs or risk it all for a Royal Flush to finish off your enemy? The decision is yours if you win Front Towards Gamer’s Runespell: Overture giveaway. So how do you walk away with a free game you ask?

I think the one genre most suited for being mixed with others is the role playing game. Character progression can be added to virtually anything, and already has been added to many things. Moving away from role playing elements, I personally really like both action/advanture games like the legend of zelda games and tactics games like final fantasy tactics advance. How would it be if those type of games got merged together? :D

I’d mix Space Trading games like Frontier/Elite, and Minecraft. Randomly generated mineable/explorable planets FTW!

Haha, i would mix RPG/Action/Adventure with tower defense games. I think that it will attract many new customers because every round would be randomized making it even more enjoyable with different builds!

So you would make Assassins Creed: Revelations? It was basically a mix of all those. But if it was done balanced I can see how that could be fun.

What do we do in Sim series (any) when we become bored? Destroy and kill everything.
So I’d mixed destruction based TPS (think of Red Faction Guerrilla) with Sims in Ultimate Massive Multiplayer Online Third-Person Shooter / Sims Crossover. Some people build cities, some people populate them with their families and building their own homes, some people tycoon robot armies to defend their cities and crap. And other’s are ravaging and destroying everything RFG-style with hammers and driving through buildings on school buses (for example). Too ambitious to make, too complicated to work, but why not dream about it?

Put this out on the 360 and I will buy it. I always love destruction elements in games, especially when they are unexpected. This sounds like it would be chalk full of that. Plus add in the endless amount of time you could sink in and this is a game made for me.
