Shanghai Six sits down with LA actress and model Rana McAnear to discuss how a simple afternoon of facial capture has more or less changed the course of her life! As the face of two of the more notable Mass Effect Asari characters, Morinth and Samara, the job has been the jumping off point to her career. We discuss her surprisingly rabid fanbase, the shocking amount of time and energy it takes to “become” an Asari, and how Bioware is handling her appearances (it’s not what you’d think!).
