Shanghai Six sits down with oil-company-lobbyist-turned-video-game-analytic-rock-star, Michael Pachter from both Wedbush Securities and his show “The Pach Attack” over at Gametrailers. Michael blows Shanghai out of the water with his discussion about how he made the bizarre leap into the games industry, his thoughts on winners and losers of E3, portable gaming, the MMO market, Activision burning out Call of Duty…the list of topics goes on and on. Some amazing stuff.
Also, he’s 56 years old, but he barely looks 40. See what video gaming your entire life will do for you, kids? Fountain of damn youth.
As for intro/outro, the cast is in rare form. Batman5273 keeps it classy by talking about his argument with a porn star about oversized breasts and cosplay before going into his thoughts on Lego Batman 2, Gamergirl goes all “Japan” on us talking about Catherine, Dragon’s Dogma, and Dragon Quest IX, while Shanghai blows the head off of Hitler in Sniper Elite v2.
