Do you think games journalism is all fun and games? Well, there are games that’s for sure. Whether or not they are fun is another story entirely. Good or bad, someone has to write about them for the community to read. Do you like giving opinions? Like thrashing a game when it is horrid? Or how about offering limited less praise when a title simply blows your mind? If you think you have what it takes, Front Towards Gamer is looking for some new recruits to help with gaming news and reviews.
But you don’t have to take my word for it:
”Fir3truck makes the recruitment program as painless as possible. He treats you with a level of respect that’s often reserved for only full-fledged staff. Being a recruit under his wing was an absolute treat.”- Recruit turned Staff Writer, Dustin “Assassintrip” Triplett
”It was a very organized set-up and really easy. Fir3truck always had something for us to do.”- Former site Recruit, now Editor, Brooks Clarke
“Through the recruitment process you’ll grow as a writer and team member. Fir3Truck leads by example while tailoring each person’s experience to strengthen their weaknesses while guiding them to their personal goals. Anyone interested in writing – games related or not – should go through Front Towards Gamer’s recruitment process.”- Current Staff Writer Paul Neasfey
We are also looking for people who specialize in specific categories to broaden our Nerd credentials:
- MMORPG’s (World of Warcraft, DC Universe Online, League of Legends)
- Sports Games (Madden, Hockey, FIFA, Basketball, Baseball, NASCAR, etc)
- Comic Books
- Television Shows
- Anime
- Card Games (Magic the Gathering)
- Tabletop Games (Warhammer 40K)
- Achievement Guides and Walkthroughs
- Expert in a specific game or franchise
We expect 4-8 articles a month which can consist of reviews, previews, guides, or news. That’s only 1-2 articles a week.
So if you are tired of submitting articles to other sites and not getting a response, or if you have always wondered if you had what it takes to write for one of the up and coming video game websites, click here and fill out the form. It’s as easy as that.
Oh, and one last thing, 18 years old and older ONLY need apply. FTG is not a babysitting service for after school activities. Sorry.
