The final chapter to the Christopher Nolan Dark Knight saga is almost here. The Dark Knight Rises opens world wide in theaters and IMAX on July 20th. Warner Bros has released an official thirteen minute featurette discussing the film with the director, filmmakers and the actors.
Batman has been gone for eight years and Commissioner Gordon is doing his best to clean up the streets of Gotham under the lie of the real reason of Harvey Dent’s death. Two new characters have invaded Gotham: the morally ambiguous Catwoman played by Anne Hathaway and the terrorist Bane portrayed by Tom Hardy.
The Featurette goes on to explain the introduction of the new characters, the building of the Batcave, the battle of Wall Street, and the creation of the Dark Knight’s new flying vehicle: The Bat.
