Valve has officially begun their annual summer Steam sale. New to this whole PC gaming thing? Steam is a digital marketplace where you can buy, download and launch a huge catalog of games, ranging from triple-A titles to indie hits.
From now until Sunday, July 22, you can get just about any game on Steam for a massive discount. Think of it as a 10-day blue light special on the store’s entire inventory. In addition to discounts on individual games from 20 percent all the way up to a ridiculous 75 percent off, Steam also offers daily discounts on select titles and huge mark-downs of publisher and franchise bundles. As if that wasn’t enough, you can also vote on 8-hour lightning deals.
