Square Enix has announced some of the star studded voice talent being featured in their upcoming title Sleeping Dogs, which includes popular actors from both American and Asian media. Some of the voice actors you may recognize are Emma Stone from films such as The Amazing Spider-Man and Easy A, Lucy Liu from Kill Bill and Charlie’s Angels (we’ll try not to hold that one against her), and Tom Wilkinson from Batman Begins and The Exorcism of Emily Rose. Other voice actors, such as Will Yun Lee, who played villain Colonel Tan-Sun Moon in the Bond film Die Another Day, will also lend their voices.
Will Yun Lee will voice the main character of the game, undercover officer Wei Shen. Wilkinson will be providing the voice for police inspector Pendrew. Lucy Liu and Emma Stone will be voicing characters Vivienne Lu and Amanda Cartwright respectively. The voice cast continues with talent like Edison Chen voicing Jackie Mah, childhood friend of Wei Shen, and Parry Shen playing Winston Chu. Finally, the supporting cast is also joined by the likes of Robin Shou, Kelly Hu, Terence Yin, James Hong, Tzi-Ma, and Yunjin Kim.
If you want to hear from much of the cast themselves, watch the video below for a look behind the scenes of the voice acting.
Sleeping Dogs is coming to Xbox 360, PS3, and PC on August 14th.
