Big news was released concerning the upcoming Minion Master, as the game will be receiving more content. For newbies, Minion Master is made by BitFlip Games. The game is a combination of a digital strategy board game and collectible card games like Magic: The Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh! Players control armies of miniatures on a hex-based board, and use the cards to summon minions. The game is currently in its alpha and beta testing stage.
The big news is that Minion Master will be unveiled for the first time for the general public at PAX in Seattle, WA from August 31st to September 2nd. Aside being able to check out the upcoming title for the first time, visitors will also be able to get limited edition playing cards from the Minion Master universe. For those not in the area, don’t fret, you can get the cards as well if you pre-order.
The Alpha Community will receive extra content thanks to a new update. In it’s next iteration, the testers will receive four new Minions. Those minions are Werewolf, Slasher, Spider, and Peasant. They will also introduce 11 new cards and a special in-game character to the game on top of that. The content will be available from now till the end of PAX.
Finally, the update will introduce the Online Deck Builder. With this feature, players can create and play with customized decks. Players will need to train against the computer for a few months until the Multiplayer feature is introduced later.
