In “How is no one getting sued for this?” news, a new Droid is set for release in China called the X360. It’s loaded with specs like Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, a 1.5 GHz processor, 512 MB of Ram, eight GB onboard storage and MicroSD card expansion option, a five inch touchscreen, and an HDMI outlet. It even has two analog sticks, a direction pad, four buttons, and two shoulder triggers to help you play. However, there is one flaw with it.

Deja vu
The flaw is that it’s exterior design rips off the Vita in every conceivable way. Same color, same buttons, and placement. Even the screen looks the same. They make no attempt to hide they are trying to look like a Vita, and I’m guessing thats how they hope to get most of their sales.
The big difference is the Droid logo on the back and content. The device has nine emulators on there ready to go at time of purchase. You’ll have emulators for classic arcade games, Nintendo 64, Sony PlayStation, Game Boy Advance, Game boy Color, NES/FC, SNES, SEGA Mega Drive and SEGA Game Gear. This gives players access to games like 40-Winks, Bomberman Hero, Bust-A-Move 2, Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Forsaken 64, F-Zero X, Mega Man, Batman NES, Super Smash Bros. (All Star! Duranto Smash Bros. in Japan), and Final Fight. All this and Android games like Angry Birds and Fruit Ninja.
The handheld is being herald as the measuring stick for all knock-offs to raise to. No word yet on the price, but if you want one it looks like you’re going to have to head over to China. No word yet on its price. For those who’d like to see it in action, just check out this trailer they’ve released.
What do you guys think? Can you forgive it for being a knock-off? Will the X360 ever see the light of day in the US? Leave a comment below and tell us what you think.
