Foosball fans should be excited. Grip Games has announced that their upcoming Foosball 2012 will be coming to the PS3 and PS Vita via the PlayStation Store on July 24th in North and South America. Europe and other territories gain access one day later on July 25th.
The game will feature both cross play and cross continuation between the console and handheld versions, and will also support motion controls with the PlayStation Move and the Dualshock 3 controller. With the use of the cross play features, players will be able to play online against other gamers on either system.
Foosballers won’t have to worry about buying the title twice for those wanting to utilize the cross functionality. Whichever version is purchased, you get the title for the other system free of charge. The game will be set at price of $7.99. For a limited time, PlayStation Plus subscribers will get the title for the lower price of $5.99. If you’re not sure about your purchase, you can try out the demo on July 24th.
