As we all know, Gamergirl is a terrible, terrible person from London. So you should not be terribly surprised to find out that she skipped out on recording this week’s Traffic Chopper to continue to do terrible things in London. Probably Olympics related, we’re fairly confident, and not in fact having anything to do with forgetting her laptop power cord.
IN HER PLACE, Shanghai Six and Batman5273 soldier on, making the best of a bad situation by inviting newly acquired Playstation-University-member-turned-FTG-Firmware-Update-podcaster, Mr. Joe Garcia, onto the podcast to announce their joining Front Towards Gamer and their new role as Front Towards Gamer’s premier Playstation podcast.
Joe wastes no time at all and dives right into talking about PS3 exclusives Dyad and Rainbow Moon, Batman somehow is still playing Marvel Avengers Alliance on Facebook and talks about its recent updates, while Shanghai revels in the release of Orcs Must Die 2 and tries out a little Facebook gaming fun himself with EA and Insomniac’s Outernauts (see also: Pokemon). The good gentlemen also take a hard look at the contradictory Kotaku “Game Buying Guide for Idiots” and are stunned stupid at the idea of Front Towards Gamer Radio reportedly pulling in 8700 average listeners a week (which is how the show is still ranked #62 on iTunes’ “What’s Hot” category for “Games and Hobbies”).
