Sony Santa Monica and Superbot Entertainment are throwing their hats into the fighting game ring with their upcoming game Playstaion Allstars: Battle Royale. It is a brawler that lets up to 4 players fight it out using various characters from all over the Sony’s vast gaming library. Currently there are 12 announced characters: Parappa the Rappa (game of the same name), Cole MacGrath (Infamous), Big Daddy (Bioshock), Sly Cooper (same game name), Fat Princess (same game name), Sweet Tooth (Twisted Metal), Heihachi Mishima (Tekken), Jak and Daxter (same game name), Toro Inoue (Street Fighter X Tekken amongst others), Kratos (God of War), Colonel Radec (Killzone) and of course Nathan Drake (Uncharted). Each character will also get a series of super attacks. These super attacks come after you build up a meter to a certain point, the higher the meter the better the attack will be. Sony Santa Monica is doing an interesting twist with the stages, they are combinations of levels from the games the characters are coming from. For example the Dojo! Level is from both Parappa the Rappa and Killzone. When the game is in full retail release you will be able to play on both the PS3 and PS Vita using cross platform play.
