One of the new, surprisingly deep and lauded fighters to come out this gen is getting a new title in the series!
BlazBlue, the gorgeous, cel-shaded, and sprite based brawler is getting a third game Blazblue Chrono Phantasma set for a Winter release in Japanese arcades this Winter.
As the trailer shows, Blazblue Chrono Phantasma is (obviously) getting a visual upgrade, new music, and of course, new characters! Newcomers Amane Nishiki, Bullet and Azrael look to fit perfectly into the BlazBlue universe and will ensure older and newer gamers can find the one character perfect for their style!
Confession time, I’ve never played a BlazBlue game, but dammit, can I appreciate some beautiful sprite work and its OST!
Chrono Phantasma is certainly showing that BlazBlue is a series that’s going nowhere and only looks to step up more and more for the 2D fighting world! Although no US/EU release is stated, but given the success and praise worldwide for the series, it’s essentially on a matter of time before experience the wheel of fate turning once again!
