Sherlock Holmes is coming back for another go in the video game industry; this time in the form of ATLUS’s upcoming investigation game The Testament of Sherlock Holmes. Wanting to show off their “all-new engine,” ATLUS has released a new batch of screenshots for the game.
The shots mostly feature Holmes and his ever trustworthy confidant Dr. Watson looking at clues and/or conversing with locals. The locations featured range from out on the London streets, to inside a mansion, to creeping around inside a rundown old shack.
Along with an all new engine for this generation of consoles, The Testament of Sherlock Holmes features what ATLUS is calling a deduction system that will allow players to link clues that they have found when investigating, and similarly when interrogating. The gameplay itself sounds akin to a modern adventure game similar to The Walking Dead’s playstyle.
The Testament of Sherlock Holmes comes to PS3, Xbox 360, and PC this Fall.
