The Ouya’s Kickstarter campain is less than 30 hours away from completion (well past their intended goal of $950,000). That isn’t stopping the developer from feeding the public updates about their upcoming console. The latest updates feature, not only that XBMC, the open source media and entertainment hub, will be coming to the Ouya, but also shows off the actual size and shape of the console and its controller.
While the controller itself (pictured below) seems to be of normal size, the system (pictured above) is much smaller than I anticipated. I’ve always thought the Ouya was reminiscent of the Gamecube, if only in shape, but it is dwarfed by Nintendo’s past console in comparison. Take a look and see for yourself.
