Mad Catz Releases Details About Combat Pilot

Article by FTG Contributor ghost_117

Mad Catz is known for being a big time player in the world of peripherals and controllers, but appear to now be slowly getting their foot in the door to game development. The controller manufacturer has just unveiled their new game Combat Pilot, a multiplayer flight sim for the PC. Developed by their new internal team, ThunderHawk Studios, Mad Catz hopes to show to get in on the PC crowd who dedicate time to hardcore flight simulators with full joystick setups.

Built around the already well made Flight Simulator X by Microsoft, Combat Pilot uses a proprietary engine for the multiplayer scenarios that the would-be pilot would encounter. Because of this, FSX is required to play the game, as it will not be included in the purchase. The $49.99 game will also arrive with one month of game time, confirming this will have a pay to play set up similar to MMOs. You can head on over to www.combatpilotseries.com and reserve your call sign for when the game should hit, which is slated to be this summer.
