Magrunner Adding PvP to its “Puzzling” Development

Magrunner

Article by FTG Contributor Robert Beach

Magrunner isn’t your normal Crowd Funded Game, we see the Double Fines, the Shadowruns and other games barely even in development pan handling on Kickstarter for our support. 3AM Games already invested 800,000 Euros (just below 1 Million Dollars) to develop the First Person Puzzler. And the developers wanted fans and supporters to spruce up the old goose, give the pillow some more fluff, and other analogies for making the game better.

Magrunner, with its 4 monetary goals on GamesPlanetLab, had only reached its first tier of 100K.  The first tier included adding in Player versus Player mode, and the 5 concurrent maps, to have a place to play the multiplayer. Later tiers were to have a major composer create the soundtrack, available for Mac & iPad, more levels, and high quality vocals for more than just English.

The developers of the game thanked those involved with the games funding:

We are proud, happy, and humbled to say that Magrunner: Dark Pulse has reached its initial goal with… We want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who’s pledged. Thanks for being part of this project and for helping support our dream.
