Countdown clocks, probably the biggest teasing pet peeve for gamers next to teaser trailers with CG graphics the game cannot and will never replicate!
Sqaure-Enix love both of these kinds of teases and have decided to start a 6 days countdown clock that looks to be teasing something related to The World Ends With You series.
TWEWY was released in the summer of 2007, to critical acclaim, but sales were slow. Luckily rabid Japanophiles seemed to jump all over TWEWY and it’s become a bit of a cult classic.
Especially the soundtrack, composed by Takeharu Ishimoto, which stands as one of the best OST available for the DS library!
A few The World Ends With You characters were even recently featured in Kingdom Hearts: Dream, Drop, Distance along with a couple of remixed tracks, so it’s clear Square-Enix and company have love for this game;
it’s nice to see they’re working on something big for it.
