SteelSeries Launching Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Gear

If I’ve learned anything from my time with Counter-Strike fanatics – strike that – PC gamers in general, it’s that they’re serious about their gear. Apparently, so are the Danish craftsmen over at SteelSeries, because they’ve teamed up with Valve to bring you officially licensed Global Offensive peripherals.

Why buy a mouse named after a deadly snake when you could get one with the friggin’ Counter-Strike dude on it? Okay, I can’t attest as to whether the stuff will actually boost your kill-to-death ratio, but if you’re anything like me, you’ll want to look your best as you get beaten into the ground mercilessly by some kid in Norway.

There are actually three CS:GO-branded peripherals to choose from. The “Siberia V2″ ($99) is full-size gaming headset with a sweet forest camo finish, the “Kana” ($60) is a gritty-looking wired mouse with shiny blue LED (we like “shiny” here at FTG) in the scroll wheel and five programmable buttons and the “QCK” ($15)  is a 10″x12″ mouse pad with a big ol’ Counter-Strike logo smack-dab in the middle.

So there you go. If you’re into PC gaming, there’s a good chance you’re into Counter-Strike. And if that’s the case, these seem like some pretty sweet peripherals. Hell, I’m not even a PC gamer anymore and I want to get my hands on this stuff. All the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive gear is available for purchase right now on SteelSeries’ website, so get’em while the getting’s good.
