Are you dying for a piece of Resident Evil 6? If so, then you’ll be happy to know that Capcom has announced that a demo for the upcoming title will be released on Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Store on Sept 18. If you’re worried that the demo will be too similar to the one released with Capcom’s recent fantasy adventure, Dragon’s Dogma, don’t. Capcom is promising all new content to keep gamers occupied.
Players will get the chance to experience a bit of each of the three main campaigns: Leon and Helena, Chris and Piers and Wesker’s son, Jack with his companion Sherry. These can be tackled either by yourself or in online co-op.
Leon and Helena traverse the campus of Ivy University facing freshly turned zombies from a recent virus breakout. Jack and Sherry walk the city streets of Lanshiang and fight off the more hulking and dangerous mutated forms of the J’avo, showcasing Jake’s unique martial arts abilities. Finally, Chris and Piers head to Edonia with a special ops team to take on the war torn land and giving players a far more militaristic approach.
The full game of Resident Evil 6 will be available on Oct 2 for PS3 and 360, with the PC version to follow.
