dishonored poster

Visual design director Viktor Antonov, co-creative directors Raphael Colantonio and Harvey Smith, and art director Sebastien Mitton discuss what went into the visual fiction of Dishonored, such as the steampunk design, the “non-photo realistic” art style, and the designing for all the industrial/supernatural architecture and elements that gamers will see when they play the game. The art direction is the main focus of this developer diary and how and why they came to land on the “What if” scenario of 17th century London that sets up all of the story, landscape, and art design for the whole project. Check it out below.

Look for Dishonored on PS3, 360, and PC on October 9.
