TGS 2012: Dragon’s Dogma Gets Larger

Dragon’s Dogma, Capcom’s newest IP, was a hit with both reviews and customers alike, and it seems like it’s only going to get larger.

During Tokyo Game Show, Capcom announced that they will be adding new content to Dragon’s Dogma at the end of this year. At that time, players will be able to put their skills to the test with two new Modes, Speedrun and Hard mode. Speedrun will ask the players to beat the game as fast as possible, giving special equipment for posting certain times. Hard mode will make the game increasingly difficult, making enemies harder to put down. However, due to the difficulty, enemies will drop better equipment upon slaying.

If that wasn’t enough, Capcom then announced the newest expansion to the series, with Dragon’s Dogma Dark Arisen. While there aren’t any details yet, the expansion is expected to release later next year, and there is a new trailer to go with it.
