Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time has an official release date. The fourth chapter in the ring-tailed raccoon’s story will release on February 5, 2013. This is the first Sly game from Sanzaru Games, the guys who put the Sly Collection together. We won’t have to wait long to see how their tailed tale stacks up, though considering Sucker Punch trusted them with the collection, the series seems to be in good hands.
Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time is also the first Sly game to support cross play and cross buy between the PS3 and Vita. Buy the PS3 version, and you’ll receive a Vita copy as well. Transfer saves to play on the go and at home, and even use the Vita to track down treasures while playing on a TV.
Pre-order to receive extra character skins, and pick up the Ratchet and Clank Collection if you want early access to the demo. For the rest of us, a few more months for Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time really isn’t a bad wait.
