Google Play, the Android-equivalent of the App Store, celebrates today its 25 billionth download. This is a great milestone for Google, as Apple hit this same target in March, only six months ago. This shows how quickly the Android market is expanding, and, whilst both offer their own great selection of apps, they can almost be considered equals.
