One of the harder missions in Dishonored to figure out is the non-lethal way to take out the High Overseer. The game almost makes killing him with poisoned wine targeting Captain Curnow almost too simple, so of course, the non-lethal version of this assassination is anything but simple. Of course, the way I did it was a little convoluted by running over to the Interrogation chamber, grabbing the brand and then going back to knock out the High Inquisitor; it probably would have been just as easy to slap his ass in the interrogation chair, run next door and grab the brand, but it’s really a horse a piece. I did clear out that hallway of guards, so it definitely made moving him over simpler. Branding the High Inquisitor, by the way, is essential to working your way towards the “Poetic Justice” achievement, which involves you taking out all the major assassination targets in an indirect method (non-lethally).
Once you brand him, it’s really just a matter of beating feet back to the boat! This is rather a long walk through, but it gets you there with a non-lethal, ghost walkthrough of the High Inquisitor “assassination” mission.
