It seems like Fat Shark kept its eyes and ears wide open as War of the Roses hit shelves worldwide earlier this month. The game was welcomed with fairly good reviews, here at FTG we gave it a 7, saying it was a fun and unique multiplayer experience, but lacked a bit in the content department. We weren’t the only ones. One of the main complaints with War of the Roses is precisely the fact that only two game modes and little differences between weapons and armors, weren’t enough to keep you entertained for a long period of time.
You’ll be happy to hear that new weapons and armors will be coming in November, each featuring many customization options as we’ve come to expect from War of the Roses. These new items will be automatically updated into the game, and can be bought immediately if you have enough in-game currency earned from playing games.
In winter, another content update will find its way, this time adding two new game modes including a “Pitched Battle” which hints at a deathmatch with limited respawns. Two more maps will also be added eventually, both of which will take place in the snowy areas of England during the harshest months of the year.
It looks like Paradox and Fat Shark have content planned till the end of the year, meaning that you won’t get bored of savagely beating your foe with a broadsword for a good while.
