Skyrim Upcoming DLC Takes Us Back to Morrowind

Morrowind in The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim

Skyrim has already released two expansions for its already massive world in the form of Dawnguard and Hearthfire. It was only a matter of time before the next batch of Skyrim DLC was announced. However, this one doesn’t plan to make lands of Skyrim larger; OXM reports that what some have found will take adventurers on a journey back to familiar territory, the desolate and dangerous land of Morrowind.

Some very helpful PC enthusiasts have investigated the inner workings of Skyrim’s recent update. The filenames found seem to be some very telling names such as DLC2 and Dragonborn, as well as some that hint at a dragon riding animation. Perhaps you will soon be able to take to the skies upon one of the many dragons you’ve spent most of your time slaying. They have also found evidence that gamers will be getting the chance to travel back to the lands of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. These PC “investigators” have found quest markers for places such as Solstheim, Telvanni, Castle Karstaag, Raven Rock and Miraak Temple, all locals from Skyrim and Oblivion’s predecessor.

A final goody that was found was entries that are thought to be a few new armor types. All in all, if this all takes, the upcoming DLC for Skyrim could be one hell of a ride.
