Ratchet & Clank Full Frontal Assault Out November 27th for $19.99

Ratchet & Clank Full Frontal Assault gets a release date and a bargain price.

This year’s Ratchet & Clank Full Frontal Assault will be releasing on November 27th, just in time for the franchise’s 10th anniversary next month. The game will be available both digitally and at retail for $19.99. That price, of course, entitles customers to both the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita versions as part of Sony’s cross-buy initiative.

Ratchet & Clank Full Frontal Assault won’t be a full-blown Ratchet & Clank release like previous titles, instead being smaller in scope and focusing on multiplayer mayhem and tower defense tomfoolery. Think less Tools of Destruction, more Quest for Booty.

Ratchet & Clank fans will be happy to see a new game for just $20, but it’ll be interesting to see how the general public will react to the price point at retail; anything below the standard $60 has an unfortunate stigma of being bargain-bin software, but hopefully casual fans will see the price for nothing more than the bargain than it is.

Ratchet & Clank Full Frontal Assault is just one of several cross-buy games that our own Tyler Lee thinks could change the industry.
