Thanks a keen-eyed Reddit user, Assassin’s Creed 4 Black Flag swings in at the tail end of this year with a smaller land environment to plunder. Notice the red line indicating Kenway’s position to the opposite end of the street, Havana features a tinier place to wander.
It’s daunting to see such a small map for a series hell-bent on expansive, sprawling cities, ripe for urban building hopping. Yet, a higher epenthesis on navel battles and exploration take up sizable portion this time around, rather the standard platforming and ledge-scaling as the previous five (or 14) games to do so.
Assassin’s Creed 4 slices on shelves October 29th for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, and PC.
