Traveler’s Tales brings us a clearer vision of the story of Lego: Marvel Super Heroes.
Doctor Doom compiles every villain (of importance) to protect the cosmic bricks and create the patented, “Doctor Doom’s Doom Ray of Doom.” Save for the fact Doom pools villains of conflicting and destructive backgrounds (Jewish-descent Magneto likes to have a chat with Nazi-leader Red Skull). Concepts too dark for a game geared toward the little ones aside, the borderline eye-rolling humor persists. Just wait until Galactus peeps his oafishly large head.
Lego: Marvel Super Heroes assembles on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC this October 18th.
(PlayStation 4 version due November 15th and Xbox One version sometime in November)
