It’s been two long years since Infinity Blade II grazed Apple’s handheld and lap-laden iPhone and iPad, and it’s set to do so again. ChAIR is once again at the helm of the Unreal Engine-powered Punch Out!!-esque “swipe fighter” franchise, and it looks to be fantastic. Infinity Blade III casts you as both Siris and Isa (you may remember her from the opening and conclusion of the second game), a warrior and thief, to explore eight unique areas, each being the size of the first game’s entire playable expanse. Powered by the Unreal Engine 3, the series looks to continue to carry its mantle of “best looking game on handheld devices, period”. Infinity Blade III will be available on the iTunes App Store for $6.99 on September 18th. Check out Infinity Blade and Infinity Blade II on iTunes!
