So, Valve has some announcement coming at the PlayStation Media Event on Monday night.  People that are playing it safe are calling for Left 4 Dead 3.  Others are calling for Half-Life 3 (even though Half-Life 2 Episode 3 still hasn’t come out).  But, what if the PlayStation 4 has enough computing power to be a Steam Machine?  Play all your PC games from your Steam library in your living room from your PlayStation 4…now that’s my kind of crazy.

People are expecting a new Legend of Zelda game to finally be announced by Nintendo this year, but what if they took it one step further?  What if Nintendo announced a new F-Zero game, new StarFox, then ended their digital event with a new Metroid.  Reggie drops the mic, and the live stream cuts to black.  Jaws would hit the floor.

Xbox Drops the Xbox Live Gold Requirement for Online Multiplayer

The Xbox Live Gold requirement for online multiplayer has been a cash cow for Microsoft for years, so much so that with the launch of the PlayStation 4 Sony has taken on the model with PlayStation Plus.  But maybe Microsoft pulls yet another 180, and removes the restriction on online multiplayer.  This would mean anyone with an Xbox 360 or Xbox One could play multiplayer without spending $60 a year for the privilege, and may just help to boost those Xbox One sales.
