Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX Impresses on HD Visuals with SD/HD Comparison Trailer

Kingdom Hearts

The Disney-meets-Final Fantasy series of Kingdom Hearts won’t be seeing an original addition to the series in quite some time. Until then, Square Enix preps its second pairing of HD re-releases of Kingdom Hearts 2.5 ReMIX with an actively sliding side-by-side comparison of Sora and the gang in high definition then with standard definition.

Not be confused for a glorified repackage with upping the resolution, Square hones on the visual upgrade with incredibly present shifts in design include costume changes, brighter and clearer visuals, and diminishing the weird gray scale effect in the standard definition.

As a reminder, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX compiles Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix, Birth By Sleep Final Mix (as well as cutscenes from Re:coded ) into one $40 package.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX lands December 2nd on PlayStation 3.
