Biography
27 years old, born and raised in New Hampshire. I have been playing video games from the age of 7 when a learning disability specialist recommended I play video games to help with my Dysgraphia. Best doctors orders EVER! I play 360,PS3, PSP, DS, and PC games, like nobodies business. Handhelds are usually reserved for when I am watching TV or...well the place where everyone uses their handhelds. I try and write as much as I can to help get this party started! By now I hope you have heard of Catherine. I sure have banged out enough articles in the past month or so for at least everyone to be aware of the game. Even if you have not, this little piece will give you something to at least listen to.

Good ol’ Atlus announced another great game coming to their US catalog! Very coyly in their recent email newsletter, they announced that they are bringing the lost chapter of the Persona series to America in the same fashion that they brought Persona and Persona 3.

For those of you who are not in the know, earlier this month, Atlus had a contest where they challenged fans to submit videos with their answers to some very personal questions to be featured in the trailer for their upcoming game about relationships, infidelity, and devil sheep called Catherine. The trailer, which featured real fans responding to some fairly tough personal questions, is finally finished and thanks to our friends over at Atlus for sending us the results!

The title says it all. Chances are that if you are a frequenter of video game websites, you have at least seen a screenshot from Catherine. However, unless you are a diehard fan of Atlus, there is also an equal chance that you have no idea what the heck the game is about…or you think it has something to do with some inappropriate relations with sheep.

While meandering around the show floor at PAX East, I stumbled across the Boston Indie Showcase area and one game in particular caught my eye, Snapshot. I decided to talk to one of the developers for a bit and was immediately intrigued at what he was showing off.

Here we have a remake of an old school gamer’s classic, Ys I & II Chronicles. It definitely manages to update the original as far as graphics and sound, but does the gameplay still hold weight in the modern era of PSP remakes?

It has been about a month since Gamers for Guts kicked off, and I am here today to talk about my top five gaming snacks for losing weight. I am basing these snacks off of Weight Watchers Points Plus program, but these are also healthier choices for other diets as well.
