Until now, the Windows Phone Marketplace has been one of the few casual gaming platforms to holdout on offering the “freemium” game design. As users are probably familiar with this Facebook-genre, these games utilize the free-to-play model with micro-transactions for to generate revenue. Bug Village is Microsoft’s first foray into this genre.
